The aim of the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Department is to widen your cultural awareness and develop linguistic skills in French and Spanish, such as Reading, Writing, Listening, Translation and Speaking.

We believe in creative and meaningful use of language, both in and outside of the classroom, and ultimately aim to give you the confidence and proficiency required to communicate with a wide range of people from many different backgrounds.
